Book direct with the owners on this website and you'll pay no booking fee.

Prices shown above are indicative and may sometimes change depending on your arrival or departure day. We will confirm precise prices by email before your booking is confirmed.

Our minimum length of stay is for 3 nights.  We will offer discounts for additional nights and for bookings of 14 nights or longer. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and to agree a suitable arrival day. Please also see our Offers page.

During the peak Summer Holiday weeks from 21st July to the end of August 2023 our changeover day is Friday, with a minimum stay of 7 nights unless alternatives are shown.  At other times of year short breaks or longer visits generally start on Fridays or Mondays but we will accommodate other start dates where possible.

Booking a holiday or short break is really easy. Check the calendar, choose your dates then complete an online booking form  if you're ready to book.  Alternatively phone or text Sue on 07709 436727 or send an email.  We'll get back to you quickly – almost always within the hour (between 9am and 10pm) with a confirmed price. If you decide to proceed with your booking we'll reserve the dates for you and arrange for payment of the deposit. Before booking please read our Booking Conditions.

Changes We Have Made to Protect Our Guests from Covid-19

We have a fantastic changeover team who achieve high standards of cleanliness and they now work even harder to ensure that Columbine and Foxglove Cottages will be safe spaces for guests to stay. We have carried out detailed risk assessments and introduced stringent new cleaning protocols in accordance with guidance issued by the Professional Association of Self Caterers UK (PASC UK) in response to COVID-19 to ensure that Columbine and Foxglove Cottages will be safe spaces for guests to stay. We also have “Covid Confident” accreditation from the AA. 

Bookings Conditions

We realise that we are living in uncertain times and none of us know whether or not there will be further periods of Covid-19 lockdown in the coming months. Our Refund Promise is that we will give you a full refund if the UK Government introduces lockdown measures to control the spread of COVID-19 which require us to close our holiday cottages for some or all of the dates you have booked to stay. We will also give you a full refund if you are unable to travel to take your holiday because of a local lockdown (this applies only to the booking address of the lead booker shown on the Booking Confirmation and does not cover members of your party with addresses in other local lockdown areas). This refund promise does not cover you (or members of your party) for being unable to travel because you (or a member of your party) fall ill with COVID-19, or are required to quarantine or self-isolate.

We don't like paying for extras so we don't think you will either. The following are all included in the price shown.

• Bedding and towels
• Electricity & central heating
• WiFi
• Bathroom essentials (body wash, soap,  body lotion, tissues & loo rolls)
• Welcome tray
• Kitchen essentials (tea-towels, oven gloves, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper)
• 1 pet in Foxglove Cottage (sorry no pets in Columbine)

In colder months we also provide an initial supply of coal and logs for the open fire.
